French Cine Hub is an initiative to use French films as a powerful medium to enhance your association with the French language, culture, history and ethos of the country.

These movies have been carefully selected as they contain hidden gems in them that are unearthed to the viewer through our pre-screening narration.

French Cine Hub is made possible through the association of IF Cinéma (Institut Français) that offers a wide selection of films available via streaming or downloading in compliance with their terms and through Indo French Hub that arranges for the AV equipment, venue and most importantly the resource person to deliver the communiqué to the audience.

About the Resource Person

Shreni SHAH

Enseignante de FLE
Habilitée à exercer les fonctions d'examinateur-correcteur (niveaux: A1-C1), Shreni est dotée du diplôme d'enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère (DU FLE) et possède plus de 12 ans d'expérience dans le domaine d'enseignement. C'est une éducatrice passionnée qui prend du plaisir à faire parler ses apprenants. Travaillant actuellement comme Freelance, elle est également créatrice de contenu pour ses réseaux (Instagram et YouTube). Elle tâche de mettre à disposition de sa communauté du contenu authentique et pertinent dans l'optique de rendre la langue de Molière accessible à tous. Apprendre le français devrait rimer avec le plaisir. Ainsi, se résume sa philosophie d'apprentissage.

Go beyond the classroom!

Screening French movies is an innovative way to expose your students to the language. They get a deeper appreciation of the art as we help them to discover insights about the film. The experience of watching the film has many benefits  - hearing the spoken language and imbibing aspects of the french culture, food, places and their rich history.

    jamal mohamed college is a landmark in trichy, french is taught here since 1951.it is the only affliated french department in the bharathidasan university area.we have regularly french tourists visiting our college
